Support ended in August 2026 – the device receives no security fixes. Cisco specifies the Firepower 1000 Series as the successor. The Firepower 1010 has eight ports with PoE and 890 Mbit/s firewall throughput. The licensing model changes: PAK becomes Smart Licensing.
