Catalyst 9200 48-port data (Network Advantage)

What does the part number mean?

Access switches with modular uplinks – choose 1G or 10G (25G and 40G on the PXG models) depending on your network.

Licence (Catalyst subscription) iThe switch requires a subscription (Essentials or Advantage) with software updates and support – the available terms are shown in the choice. Essentials is enough for most office networks; Advantage is needed for SD-Access and advanced analytics. If you don't choose, we add the right licence in the quote. Support and hardware replacement iA support contract (Cisco Smart Net) gives you Cisco TAC around the clock, software updates and a replacement part if the hardware fails – the level decides how fast the part arrives. The contract can run for 1, 3 or 5 years – choose the term in the quote basket. Without one, the manufacturer's standard warranty applies. Read the guide: How Cisco licensing works →3 options
Uplink module iThe module adds ports to the switch or router. The number is the port count and the letter the speed: G = 1G, X = 10G, Y = 25G, Q = 40G, C = 100G, M = multigigabit copper. Transceivers are ordered separately. Read the guide: Uplink modules – which one? →The uplink ports are on the module · 2 options
Stacking module and cables iStacking lets several switches be managed as one. A stack has at most 8 switches and is cabled as a ring – as many cables as switches. The cables come in 50 cm, 1 m and 3 m, and all switches in the stack must have the same licence level. Read the guide: Catalyst 9200 or 9300? →6 options
Power supply iA second power supply gives redundancy and can raise the switch's total PoE budget. Larger power supplies are needed if many ports must deliver high PoE. Read the guide: PoE – is there enough power? →1 option
Rack mount iBrackets and rails for ceiling, wall or rack. A standard bracket is often included – choose here if you need a different mounting. Read the guide: Which access point? Wi-Fi 6E or Wi-Fi 7 →1 option
Transceivers 1G SFP iEvery fibre port needs a transceiver. SR = multimode fibre within the building, LR = single-mode up to 10 km, T = copper (RJ45). Between switches in the same rack a DAC cable (CU) is cheapest. Read the guide: Transceivers and cables – what fits? →22 options
