Compatible accessories and licences
Licence iMeraki devices need a valid licence to be managed. The licence follows the model and comes in 1–10 years. Enterprise gives the core features; Advanced Security (MX) or Advanced adds more features. Read the guide: How Cisco licensing works →8 options
PoE injector iA PoE injector powers a single access point when the switch port has no PoE. The AIR-PWRINJ6 delivers up to 30 W (PoE+); Wi-Fi 6E/7 may need an 802.3bt injector. Read the guide: PoE – is there enough power? →2 options
Power adapter iA second power supply gives redundancy and can raise the switch's total PoE budget. Larger power supplies are needed if many ports must deliver high PoE. Read the guide: PoE – is there enough power? →1 option
