Frequently asked questions

Do I have to choose a licence when adding the product to the basket?

No. If you don't choose one, we add the right licence in the quote when it is required. Choosing in the basket simply shows you the total price right away. Read more in the guide →

Does the switch work without an uplink module?

The regular ports work, but the switch then has no uplink ports. To connect it onwards with fibre or 10G you need a module. Read more in the guide →

Does Meraki work if the internet connection goes down?

Yes. According to Meraki the devices keep forwarding traffic with the latest configuration, and connected clients are not affected. What does not work in the meantime is changes and monitoring from the cloud. Read more in the guide →
